Brice Set for Brad Paisley’s Beat This Summer Tour

Nashville, TN – April 8, 2013 – Award-winning singer/songwriter Lee Brice takes the top position on both the Billboard and Mediabase charts this week with his moving “I Drive Your Truck.” The hit song is Brice’s third consecutive single off his sophomore release HARD 2 LOVE on Curb Records and has resonated with fans since first hitting the airwaves.

“I was immediately drawn to this song, so I’m not surprised that fans have connected to it like they have,” said Brice. “Since we put it out as a single, fans from across the country have shared their own ‘truck’ stories through just about any way they can – calling into the radio, on tour at meet and greet, Twitter, Facebook, emails and texts. Lee Brice is excited about Sunday night's ACM Awards, but not for reasons most would think of immediately. Yes, he's nominated for Song of the Year for his hit single, "A Woman Like You," but Lee is more interested in the woman he'll be escorting to the gala event.

"I love the awards show, mostly because I get to see Sara (Reeveley, his fiancée) all dolled up in her dress and walk her down the red carpet," Lee tells The Boot. "It's so much fun to see her smile and how beautiful she looks."

Of course Lee is hoping for a win in the Song of the Year category for songwriters Phil Barton, Johnny Bulford and Jon Stone. "Any nomination is cool with me, I'm just happy to be playing music," the singer says. "Anything beyond the music is just extra to me."

Lee Brice won his match and is moving onto the Final Four round of the Music Video Madness competition. Voting will open this afternoon and run through Sunday night.
