Screen_shot_2012-02-23_at_1.03.25_PMJerrod Niemann fans get ready — you will soon be able to hear your first notes of the singer-songwriter’s next single, titled ‘Shinin’ On Me,’ when he hosts his second StageIt performance on Monday (Feb. 27).

The new tune is one that Niemann co-wrote with Lee Brice, Rob Hatch and Lance Miller while out on tour with Brad Paisley last summer. The song will be the first single from Niemann’s sophomore album, slated for release later this year.

Some of Niemann’s fans who have caught him out on the road in the recent weeks opening for Miranda Lambert may have heard the song already, but for a majority of his fan base, they can hear ‘Shinin’ On Me’ — as well as a handful of other new songs that will be found on the soon-to-be-released album — next week for the very first time.

Lee Brice Says "A Woman Like You" Is "Magical"

LeeBrice_sm South Carolina Native Earns Fourth ACM Nomination, Releases New Single, Works on New Album

South Carolina native Lee Brice began the New Year tucked away in a cozy bed and breakfast in Key West, Fla. The helpless romantic brought his girlfriend of more than 10 years there for an unforgettable vacation.

"I was like, I cannot wait any longer," he grinned as he relived the moments of getting down on bended knee to propose. "I had to do it the old-fashioned way."

Engaged to Sara Reeveley on Jan. 2, the singer-songwriter's good fortune had only just begun. A few weeks later, the song craftsman would garner his fourth Academy of Country Music Award nomination for "Crazy Girl," a passionate love ballad he co-wrote with Liz Rose and was later recorded by the Eli Young Band. The chart-topper is nominated for song of the year at the April 1 awards show in Las Vegas.
