"Drinking Class" Is This Year's Most Played Song On Country Radio

Dec 15 | Posted by: Lee Brice

After a whirlwind year filled with hit singles, sold-out tour dates and TV show appearances, Lee Brice -- whose RIAA Gold-certified "Drinking Class" enjoyed a long stay toward the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart -- has been named the most played song on Country radio in 2015.

The "evocative rough-edged singer" (New York Times) earned the same distinction? in 2010 with "Love Like Crazy." That smash hit remained on the Billboard charts for more than a year, breaking Eddy Arnold's 60 year-old record in the process. With "Drinking Class," Lee Brice now earns his second "Most Played Song" honor, capping off a busy year that also included a pair of ACM Awards for "I Don't Dance."
