A $20,000 charitable donation was raised during a trio of concerts in South Carolina, beginning with an October 16th show at Coastal Carolina University. An outdoor show in Spartanburg followed one day later, with Lee Brice collecting monetary and food donations at both events. Following his November 13th performance at Finlay Park in Columbia, Brice has raised enough funds to donate $10,000 to his hometown of Sumter, South Carolina, where the money will be distributed to needy families through local churches. An additional $10,000 has also been donated to the American Red Cross of Central South Carolina, to help with broader flood recovery efforts.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step in and help, even in a small way. So many people were impacted and are still recovering from immense water damage to their homes and property,” shares Lee.

Rebecca Jordan, Executive Director of Central South Carolina’s “Our communities throughout South Carolina have stepped up to support our friends and neighbors," says Rebecca Jordan, Executive Director of central South Carolina's Red Cross branch. "College Town Throwdown and Lee Brice’s commitment to the community is an example of citizenship at its best. This donation will help us continue to serve the needs of those impacted by the devastating flood.”
